Jongleurs comedy nights are back at Marine Hall, FleetwoodPublished Thursday, 17 September 2015
Back by popular demand, Jongleurs comedy nights are returning to Fleetwood. They tore the roof off last time so now the country's best stand-up comedians are gracing the stage at Marine Hall once more
Next month, don’t miss the hilarious Peter White, Micky P Kerr and Rudi Lickwood who will be joined on the night by compère Kevin Dewsbury. It’s a great Friday night out so grab a group of friends and enjoy the funniest night out in town.
Opening the night is Peter White. From his start in Nova Scotia, Canada he’s gone on to perform comedy all over the world, and is in high demand for festivals and television. Appearances in the UK include Live at the Comedy Store which was broadcast on Comedy Central, as well as performances at the prestigious Just For Laughs comedy festival and countless appearances on CBC and XM Radio.
Next up is Micky P Kerr whose live performances contain a mixture of comedy, spoken word, pop music and folk - he’s an artist to watch. Over the course of around 300 live gigs he has managed to turn himself into a poet, folk musician, comedian, rapper, indie kid, punk and a rock n roller! In 2007 he officially formed 'The Dudes' as his backing band and they have been growing in stature ever since. Full of surprises Micky is a much loved favourite on both the live music and comedy scenes.
Closing the night is Rudi Lickwood one of the busiest acts on the UK comedy circuit with a sense of humour and razor-sharp material that appeals to all audiences. A super confident playful personality and oozing charisma, his infectious charm has made him a desirable commodity for television as well as radio work.
His TV credits include Mega Mela Malai Comedy, 100 Greatest TV Treats, The Last Word, The Stand-Up Show, Haert of Harlesden and Banged Up Stand Up. He also enjoys doing warm up for TV on programmes such as The National Lottery Jet Set, Top Gear and the Weakest Link. Rudi has a street wise attitude and an ability to chat and go off on tangents which appeals to his audience.
The evening will be compered by Kevin Dewsbury who although originally from Cheshire is often mistaken as being from Yorkshire due to his ridiculous northern accent. He performs stand-up comedy all over the UK and overseas and his material ranges from storytelling to observations and one liners. Kevin has appeared at the Edinburgh Festival in sell out shows to critical acclaim including his first solo show In…Sane, a show which tackled his experiences of mental illness, and his recent show Out Now.
Brought to you by Jongleurs, the UK's number one comedy company, this bunch will have you rolling in the aisles with laughter. Don't miss this chance to see two hours of today's funniest stand-up – book your tickets now! Tickets are just £12 or £10 each if you book at table of ten or more.
