The Fylde Coast Food and Drink Festival is back!

Food Festival Published Wednesday, 22 July 2015

The Fylde Coast Food and Drink Festival is back at Marine Hall, Fleetwood on Sunday 16 August.

Come along between 10am and 4pm for a delicious day out for all the family – entry is free and there’s loads going on.

There’s everything a foodie could wish for including cheeses, chutneys, meats, cakes, chocolates, jams, pies, puddings and much more. There are also some tempting wines to try and buy, delicious ciders, specialist coffees, traditional teas and some fruity artisan cordials.

Plus, there’s plenty of hot food cooking outside for lunch from paella to pizza, hog roast to grilled cheese - you’ll be spoilt for choice.

The talented chefs from Twelve Restaurant will be hosting cooking demonstrations on stage throughout the day - don't miss your chance to watch them cook up three delicious courses. Find out how to create a tasty starter, impressive main course and perfect pudding. The chefs will also be taking questions from the audience - a great chance to pick up some tips.

There’s lots for the kids to enjoy too including a bouncy castle and cupcake/ gingerbread decorating. So bring the whole family for a great day out by the seaside!

Janet Heald, Events and Front of House Manager at Marine Hall comments, “We are really excited about this year’s event. We’ve had an overwhelming response from exhibitors with lots of familiar faces returning from last year plus a whole host of new businesses that we’re delighted to now be working with. After having such an enjoyable time with us at the Christmas Market, BBC Radio Lancashire will be joining us again to broadcast from the venue throughout the day.

“We’re hoping for a great turn out again, it’s nice to bring new people into Marine Hall and shout about all the different things we have to offer. Fingers crossed that the sun comes out and we will see lots of families enjoying lunch out in our beautiful gardens.”
