Community support - Coronavirus

Wyre Together

Wyre togetherWe are facing an unprecedented situation and want to make sure our communities are supported throughout the Coronavirus pandemic.

We have launched Wyre Together to offer support to those during the Coronavirus pandemic who need it. This includes those on the NHS shielded list and those most vulnerable in our society with no support from friends, family, neighbours or carers. This might include signposting people to local community groups, providing food parcels to those who are eligible and general support to prevent loneliness.

Do you need support?

If you are in need of support and do not have anyone to turn to please get in touch with us by completing the form below. We will use this information to see how we can best support you.

We have also put together some local contacts for food deliveries and other support which may be helpful to you (please note all the information is to the best of our knowledge correct at the time of publication but may be subject to change)

Can you offer support?

We are humbled to see our communities already pulling together in response to the Coronavirus outbreak. We want to support groups in the area and put them in touch with those who need help. We are already working with groups including Poulton Can, Garstang Volunteer Force, Fleetwood Together and Warren Manor Day Centre and are happy to hear from other groups in Wyre to see how we can help.

We are asking community groups and organisations who are offering support to local people, or who would like to help out in some way, to let us know what they are doing/would like to do.

It could include help with shopping, making phone calls, sending post or addressing other essential needs.

Let us know what support you can offer during the Coronavirus outbreak:
