Welcome to the Wyre Borough Local Plan 1991-2006 (Adopted and Operative July 1999)
The adopted Wyre Borough Local Plan has been adapted for viewing via the Internet as part of the Council's initiative to improve access to its documents and encourage wider involvement in its preparation and review.
The following comments are designed to help first time users get the most out of the Local Plan whilst on-line. First time users are advised to read through this guidance before using the site and may find it useful to keep a printed copy to hand.
Where to Start
The Local Plan consists of two parts, a Written Statement and the Proposals Maps. The Written Statement set out all of the policies and proposals including all the land allocations. The Proposals Maps show the boundaries of the proposals and allocations on a map base. The best place to start is with the Proposals Maps.
