Additional Restrictions Grant - Update 30 April 2021

A third application window has now opened for the Additional Resrictions Grant (ARG). This is a discretionary scheme, which is aimed predominately at the retail, leisure, hospitality and events sectors. If you have not been eligible to apply for previous grant schemes you may be eligible now, please read the further information about the scheme before making an application. 

The scheme also hopes to give Wyre’s high streets a boost by providing the opportunity for businesses locating to or expanding into vacant premises on our high streets or Fleetwood Market the chance to apply for up £25,000 of funding. Read more here

Restart Grants

Local authorities will be responsible for the distribution of the restart grants announced in the budget on 3 March 2021, it has been confirmed that an application form will be required.

As part of the recent budget, the Government has announced it will provide ‘restart grants’ of up to £6,000 per premises for non-essential retail businesses and up to £18,000 per premises for:

  •  hospitality
  •  accommodation
  •  leisure
  •  personal care
  •  gym businesses
