Coronavirus (Covid 19)

Update 15 September: The government has released details of their COVID-19 Autumn and Winter response plan. The UK's booster COVID-19 vaccination programme started on 20 September 2021. Those who are eligible will be contacted by the NHS to come forward for their booster jab.

We are currently in step 4 of the governments roadmap out of lockdown

Whilst legal requirements regarding face masks and social contact have been lifted, there are simple measures we can all take to help keep each other safe. It is expected and recommended that people:

  • Get the Vaccine – being fully vaccinated is the best way to protect yourself.
  • Wear a face covering in crowded areas such as public transport
  • Keep testing regularly to help manage your personal risk and protect others
  • Self isolate and take a PCR test if you have symptoms. Mild symptoms for you could make others seriously ill. Don't guess - take a test
  • Wash your hands with soap and water or use hand sanitiser regularly throughout the day.

People who are double jabbed or aged under 18 are no longer be legally required to self-isolate if they are identified as a close contact of a positive COVID-19 case. For further information please see the governments update.
