Tackling climate change

Logo for bronze Carbon Literate Organisation award.Climate change is causing devastating impacts across the globe. As a coastal borough, Wyre is particularly at risk of sea level rise and flooding. It is crucial that we all do our bit to reverse these changes, and reduce our impact on the environment.

We have declared a Climate Emergency and committed to reduce the council’s emissions by at least 78% by 2035.
