Great outdoors events and activities

We are looking forward to welcoming you back this spring!

Now more than ever, its important to get outdoors and enjoy Wyre’s coast, countryside, parks and green spaces for both our physical and mental health. Our outdoor spaces, parks and playgrounds are still here for you to enjoy,  and we are pleased to announce that we will be launching our spring events and activities calendar from 12 April, dependent on confirmation of the roadmap dates.

Details of our activities can be seen on our calendar below. Please take a minute to read through our safety and booking procedures.

Great outdoors events

Our beaches, parks and countryside spots have provided a lifeline to many throughout the pandemic, providing a place for exercise and space to spend time in nature.

Please continue to be responsible when you are out in our great outdoors. Keep your distance from others, social distancing is still key to stopping the spread of coronavirus.

Some places can get busy with people out walking, cycling, dog walking and horse riding. There’s room for us all if we all take time to look out for each other and be mindful of the space we are using.

Always bin or take your litter home and remember, your dog is your responsibility - always pick up the poo, don’t expect someone to clean up after you.

We work so hard to keep our outdoors clean, tidy and looking it’s best and we need everyone to do their bit too.
