Financial support for businesses
Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG) from 19 July to 31 August 2021
The latest round of the Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG) scheme is targeted towards those sectors that we have identified as a priority for additional support, recognising that the lifting of restrictions will not mean as rapid a return to normality as it would for others. The scheme provides local councils with a cash limited, discretionary grant fund to support businesses that continue to be severely impacted by restrictions and the transition out of restrictions. These businesses may or may not be in the business rates system. For more details on the grant, eligibility, and how to apply please visit our webpage.
