Try dance influences from all over world

Published on Thursday 16th September 2010

Wy Stretch and Boogie classes are being introduced at the Marine Hall in Fleetwood on 28 September and will then be held every Tuesday from 6pm to 7pm

These are fun for all ages, shapes and musical tastes. No special footwear is needed and you don't need a partner to enjoy the class. Just wear loose clothing and bring along enthusiasm. The mixture of dance and stretch is easy exercise, but will energise you for the following week. All the activity is adaptable for people with limited mobility or back problems etc.

Classes are led by Jacqueline Greaves, who has been running classes across Lancashire for more than 30 years and is now based with Ludus Dance Company.

Classes cost £2 per session. Enrol by contacting Jean Laurie, Wyre Borough Council's Arts Development Officer on 01253 887615 or email jlaurie@wyrebc.gov.uk
