Discover Larkholme Grasslands this summer

butterfly Published Tuesday, 07 August 2018

If you're running out of ideas of how to keep the kids entertained this summer then read on.

Wyre Council's rangers are hosting a number of events and activities this month for the whole family to enjoy.

Discover more about the bugs and beasties of Larkholme grassland on Wednesday 15 August. This is a free one hour event which will start at 1pm, meeting at  the Westway entrance. Come along and investigate what lives in the grassland.

If you miss this event, or enjoy it so much you want to do it again then your luck is in! On Tuesday 28 August rangers will be guiding people through the dunes at Rossall Point to see what bugs and beasties lurk within. Meet at Rossall Point tower at 1pm for a free hour of fun, and learn some interesting facts along the way.
