Digital help centre is ready to launch at Fleetwood MarketPublished Monday, 05 February 2018
A brand new digital help centre is being launched at Fleetwood Market on Friday 9 February.
Join us at 10am when Councillor Peter Murphy, Portfolio Holder for Planning and Economic Development will officially open the centre, which has already started to help local people access vital benefits and other services via the internet.
Run in partnership by Citizens Advice and Wyre Council, the centre will help people to learn new IT skills such as setting up an email address and filling out online forms. Staff will be there at the launch ready to answer any queries, and book appointments to access the service.
Appointments can be booked for those who prefer however the service can be accessed on a drop in basis.
Following the launch, the centre at Fleetwood Market will be open Tuesday, Thursday and Friday every week from 9.30am – 4pm.
