Important flood risk information – Upper River Wyre, Brock

Heavy rain and strong winds are expected across parts of Lancashire this evening before gradually easing overnight.

The rain will clear eastwards during the early hours of Thursday morning. There remains some uncertainty with regards to the exact location of the heaviest rain. River levels have risen slightly throughout today and will rise again this evening as further rain falls. River levels are expected to peak later on Thursday morning. For further information click here.

Cleveleys:

In the car park next to Cleveleys Community Church Centre, off Beach Road, Cleveleys, FY5 1ER

Poulton:

Civic Centre Car Park, Breck Road, FY6 7PU

Sunnyside Terrace Preesall:

200 sandbags are stored in the barn at the bottom of Cart Gate, Preesall, FY6 0EH

Garstang:

High Street car park to the read, High Street, Garstang, PR3 1EB

Churchtown:
