A successful Wyred Up business networking event took place at Farmer Parrs.

Farmer Parrs Animal World hosted Wyred Up’s latest networking event in Fleetwood. Over 40 delegates participated in marketing workshops hosted by NXO Marketing.

“We were delighted to be invited along to support Wyre businesses by hosting the marketing workshops” said Cheryl Jones NXO Marketing Director.

In addition to the workshops UCLAN was on-hand to advise businesses on their Digital First programme, and Mark Prince of Mark Safety did a business pitch on his consultancy that aims to simplify Health and Safety for companies.

Jane Littlewood – Chair of Wyred Up – outlined the new Cleveleys Community Team and encouraged all Cleveleys-based businesses to get involved.

“I think networking events are really important and this is a good networking event. I would certainly recommend other businesses to join Wyred Up” said Mark Prince of Mark Safety.

“I found the marketing workshops very relevant with some useful pointers” said Shaun Bennett of Links, Signs and Graphics.

Leon Mazzafiore of Astute Motoring commented “we found the marketing workshops very good and will definitely apply some of the principles learnt today”.

“This event featured a marketing and business growth workshop tailored around requests from the delegates. Shaping the event to meet specific business needs hopefully means that delegates get more direct benefit from attending the event. The delegates also made the most of the networking opportunities” said Wyre Council Chief Executive - Garry Payne.

Chair of Wyred Up - Jane Littlewood – commented ‘In business you have to keep learning and evolving. The workshops certainly gave me a fresh perspective and some interesting thoughts to take away.’
