A chance to re-live Beatlemania at Marine Hall, FleetwoodPublished Wednesday, 12 April 2017
Did you miss The Beatles at Marine Hall first time around in the sixties? Don’t miss your chance to re-live their greatest hits when The Upbeat Beatles come to town on Friday 12 May.
This new show ‘From Moptop to Rooftop’ is packed with the songs that changed a generation. It’ll have you tapping your feet from the opening bars, dancing in the aisles and screaming like you did (or would have!) in ’62!
From the depths of Liverpool’s Cavern Club all the way up to that famous rooftop on The Apple Building, The Upbeat Beatles will take you on a journey that is the story of The Beatles through their songs.
The Upbeat Beatles are second to none - powerhouse vocals, precision harmonies and tight musicianship. The guys have an easy, happy rapport with any crowd, giving them a reputation to be envied as the best in the business - eight bars of Twist and Shout and you will know why!
With 13 guitars, five costume changes, great vocals and close harmonies, teamed with a driving backbeat, The Upbeat Beatles will give you a night you’ll never forget.
The band’s hard earned reputation for authenticity and attention to detail has taken them around the world, playing to audiences which over the years have included The Jordanian Royal Family, Hollywood film actor Michael Douglas, the Prime Minister of China and, more recently, The Lord Mayor of London.
As Slade’s Noddy Holder said after seeing them earlier this year - “The Upbeat Beatles - I love ‘em, yeah, yeah, yeah!”
The Upbeat Beatles are performing at Marine Hall, Fleetwood on Friday 12 May at 7.30pm, tickets are £18. To book call 01253 887693 or book online here.
