In February, Wyre Council hosted a campaign to help highlight the problem of dog fouling in specific parts of Wyre Estuary Country Park in particular during the dark mornings and nights.
Wyre Council is very keen to welcome dog walkers and dogs to the borough and wants to encourage responsible dog ownership.
Wyre the guide dog made a WOOF-tastic appearance at Wyre on Friday 30 July, where an event took place with Guide Dogs for the Blind to officially hand over Wyre’s birth certificate to the council.
We've joined forces with Dogs Trust and Keep Britain Tidy to call on local communities to clean up their dogs' doo.
Dog fouling in Wyre is considered a problem by customers.
