Garstang walking festival
Garstang walking festival is nine days of guided walks in and around Garstang. The festival usually takes place in May and is designed to help you experience the best of springtime around Garstang, the Forest of Bowland, and the Fylde plain.
Discover bluebell woodlands, wildlife, upland views and local history. There are walks for all abilities throughout the week.
The fesitval is co-oridinated by the Friends of Garstang walking festival and supported by Wyre Council.

Each walk is individually priced. Please refer to the 2018 booklet (which will be available here in January 2018) for all prices.
You can make payment over the phone, by visiting the centre or by cheque. Please make cheques made payable to Wyre Council and post to: Countryside walks bookings, Visit Garstang Centre, Cherestanc Square, Garstang, PR3 1EF.
Friends seasonal walks
These walks, led by the Friends of Garstang walking festival will give you a chance to experience the walking festival in early spring. The walks take place in March, April, July, September and October.
Walks begin at 10am and last up to five hours. Prices are £3.50-£4.50 per walk.
