Would you be interested in driving Wyre Councils i-bus? This volunteer opportunity gives you the chance to drive around Wyre and help us to reach residents at various locations. At each location you will be accompanied by council officers giving out advice and information on our services and community support information.
Further information and qualifications
- you must hold a current clean full driving licence entitling them to drive vehicles in the C1 category (test passed before January 1997)
- you must have recent experience of driving this type of vehicle, with supporting references
- you must be prepared to collect the unit from the Copse Road Depot in Fleetwood and return it at the end of the day. You will be able to park your own car free of charge
- you will be required to register as a council volunteer and undergo a medical check, references and full check of licence details. This is to ensure our insurance will cover you as a driver.
