Wyre CCTV is inviting members of the community to monitor the CCTV cameras based at the Civic Centre in Poulton, for Wyre and Fylde council's.
The system is all about members of the community making their own community a safer place.
By becoming a volunteer for wyre CCTV you would be:
- Benefiting the community by providing a sense of security for the public.
- Helping to prevent crime and make the streets safer.
- Meeting new people and learning more about your local community.
Working times are flexible, so you could work in the day or evening, on a weekday or weekend. The work is varied and interesting with a social element and outside activities included.
Applicants are subject to vetting and a training period will be completed on site. There is a minimum literacy and numeracy skills requirement for an applicant to complete the training successfully and these will be discussed at the volunteer introduction session.
