Submission draft Wyre local plan
On the 23 January 2018, the council submitted the local plan and its supporting documents for independent examination to the Secretary of State.
The submission documents are supported by a number of evidence base documents and supporting studies. All the documents are available on the submission document library.
Following submission of the local plan and supporting documents to the Planning Inspectorate the council have noticed a number of minor inconsistencies and omissions that require amendment to the original documents. These are detailed on the submission document library.

What happens next?
Inspector Mark Dakeyne BA (Hons) MRTPI has been appointed to undertake an independent examination into the soundness of the local plan and to subsequently issue a report with their conclusions.
Tony Blackburn has been appointed as an independent Programme Officer to administer the examination and assist the Inspector. All correspondence relating to the examination should be via the Programme Officer. Items should be sent to him, preferably by email, or alternatively by post to him at:
