We treat fly tipping very seriously and will look to prosecute anyone caught fly tipping waste. If the case is proven in court you could be fined as much as £50,000 and or 12 months prison sentence.

We are responsible for removing fly tipping or dumped rubbish from public land.

Public land includes roads, pavements, council owned land, parks, recreation areas, car parks and lay-bys.

What is fly tipping?

Fly tipping is the unauthorised dumping of an item or quantity of waste and is an illegal activity. 

With your information we can respond quickly by removing the material and tackling the people responsible for lowering the standards in Wyre.
