Garstang Walking Festival
Welcome to the 2013 10th anniversary Walking Festival organised by Wyre Council and the Friends of Garstang Walking Festival, which takes place from Friday 10 - Sunday 19 May.
As well as celebrating 10 years of what we think is one of the most friendly and welcoming walking festivals, the theme for this year is celebrating our rivers - in particular the Brock, Calder, Grizedale and the Wyre. Each day there should be at least one themed event around rivers.
During the 10th anniversary, walkers will meet special guests along the way as well as visiting places and routes that are not normally open to the public, the Wyre Way Challenge will be particularly notable for this.
We invite you to join us for 10 days of guided walks full of history, highlights, heritage and heart.
