Q: Who will enforce the Dog Control Orders?
Wyre Council will enforce the Orders. Anyone who commits an offence by failing to comply with any of the Orders may face prosecution. A person who has failed to comply with an Order will be liable on conviction of a fine not exceeding £1,000.
A failure to comply with an Order(s) will usually be enforced by way of a Fixed Penalty Notice.
